I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and now live in San Diego, California.  In between, there have been stops in Boston, San Francisco, New York, Philadelphia and London.  One of the constants throughout all of these moves and changes  has been clay.  I get a lot of enjoyment from the process;  the way it feels, being able to manipulate it, and (sometimes with frustration) the magic of the final kiln opening.

My pieces are hand built, mostly constructed with slabs and coils .  I experiment with different clays, glazes, stains and slips and fire between cones 5 and 7.  I like working with texture and being aware of the positive and negative spaces.
